| St. John's Episcopal Church is very proud to offer a fine Preschool program, St. John's Weekday Preschool, to children ages 3, 4, and 5. School hours are 9:00 a.m. until noon each day. Three-year-olds attend class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Four and five- year-olds have a choice of Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or all five days. | ||
| Children are involved in a variety of enrichment activities that are all designed to improve social skills, while having a great time. Some activities include art, music, field trips, special visitors, creative movements, special programs, etc. Class size is limited to 8 for three-year-olds and 10 for four and five-year-olds. Classes run from Labor Day through Memorial Day, following the public school schedule. | ||
| Classrooms and play areas are well maintained, clean, and inviting. The outdoor play area is also utilized by the community. On bad weather days, a large indoor play area is a popular attraction for energetic preschoolers. | ||
| The school was established over 30 years ago, originally as a kindergarten. Now, the program continues maintaining its high standard and excellent reputation. Well qualified teachers, a supportive board, and involved parents all help make St. John's Weekday Preschool a fine program for your children at an affordable price.
